The question
Quality managers in food & feed searched the European RASFF system every morning for notifications about their raw materials, and chased suppliers by email for certificates and specifications.
That took hours a week. And at an audit, they had to dig up what had been done about a notification or supplier.
What I built
RASFF notifications per raw material
Traecy fetches the European RASFF notifications about food risks, filters them per raw material and emails each team only what matters for their chain.
Requests to suppliers
Certificates and specifications are requested automatically, with reminders. Suppliers answer through a secure link, without an account.
Audit trail
Every notification, action and decision is recorded with who, what and when, ready for an FSSC 22000 audit.
How it is built
An API in Java with Spring Boot and PostgreSQL, and a front end in Vue 3 with TypeScript. Tested and hosted in the EU.
